Welcome to Lyme Brook Independent School

Empowering Young People with outstanding pastoral support & innovative teaching

We are an independent school teaching from KS2 Year 4 to KS4 Year 11.

Our Mission Statement

Lyme Brook Independent School seeks to create a challenging learning environment that encourages high expectations for success through development-appropriate instruction that allows for individual differences and learning styles.

As a school, we will also encourage where possible the opportunity for our pupils to access mainstream education if deemed appropriate. Our school promotes a safe, orderly, caring, supportive environment.

Each student’s self-esteem is fostered by positive relationships with students and staff. We strive to have our parents, carers, teachers, and community members actively involved with our pupils’ learning.

"It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Lyme Brook Independent School. Lyme Brook Independent School provides our pupils with outstanding pastoral support, innovative teaching, a broad curriculum and a fantastic array of extra-curricular opportunities".

Our Values

The main objective of the School is to educate our pupils in the knowledge, skills and understanding that they need in order to lead fulfilling lives and to prepare them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life. We achieve this by:

Taking a very personal interest in each student through our system of pastoral care.

Fostering open communication and close co-operation between school and the home.

Helping the student to relate to the school community through participation in social, recreational and cultural life of the school.

Motivating the students to achieve their full potential.
